As most fathers out there would think.. Me go down the doll isle.. but when those bright eyes of your daughter say's"Dad I love them".. you do your research and look for them anywhere you can get them.. Monster high I will have to say is better for young girls than say Barbie...They are not about looks and being popular. The dolls and play themes teach that each girl is special in there own way and I think more of our young ladies need to hear that. I am happy to see the Barbie way...GO AWAY...Rock on Monster High.

The doll arrived just as stated and the smile was worth any isle walking I had to do..Thank you Amazon for being there for us Dads

Cleo is definitely an Egyptian princess in her Halloween ensemble. The Ghouls Rule line was very well done, and Cleo is no exception.

She has a fitted gown with a poofy tulle skirt and high platform shoes with no heel. The ribbon-like strands that hang down over the black tulle skirt are only turquoise on one side; the reverse side is white. Since the fabric of those strands is fairly thin, it turns easily (showing the white) and can be a bit frustrating if you are trying to display her.

Her short hair is styled with a little poof in the back, which looks quite cute. However, short hair on a doll can be difficult. Mine came with her hair sticking straight out on one side. It was easily fixed after a little gel and some styling.

Cleo comes with a handheld mask, a color coordinated pail, and a very ornate punch bowl with ladel and cup. Two snakes wrap under the punch bowl to form its base.

She has very beautiful makeup, but I noticed that the paint may be a bit thin since the whites of her eyes don't look very bright.

I highly reccommend the Ghouls Rule line because they are so beautiful when displayed, and I'm sure they would provide many hours of imaginative play as well!

This doll is probably my favorite Monster High doll. I cannot emphasize that the pictures do not do this doll service because so much of her appeal is her makeup. Her makeup is done to be fairly accurate to pharaoh makeup; her eyes are painted with an ornate and beautiful Eye of Horus. She has lots of blue and gold makeup like the pharaohs. Her lipstick is gold. Her hair is done like your typical pharaoh/Cleopatra style with a little bouffant on the top. (I apologize for saying pharaoh so much, but I really appreciate the details.) Her hair has the teal strands throughout her bangs, up on the top of her head, and in the bouffant, but nowhere else. She, like all of the ones in the series, has shiny, glittery strands of black mixed in with her black hair. She comes with a gold bracelet on one arm and bangle on the other. She is wearing a gold snake as a necklace, which looks very cool. Her dress is gold with blue straps referencing her mummy heritage while maintaining the pharaoh color scheme. Her dress, like others in the series, has black tulle puffing out the bottom and extending her dress from a miniskirt to a full length. Tulle or black/clear strips with gold stripped accents dangle from the back of her dress, further emphasizing the mummy details. Her shoes are clear teal with mummy straps in the molding. Her shoes have no heel, and instead have a platform at the ball in the shape of gold pyramids. She comes with a lovely gold mask molded with mummy strips as well as the trick-or-treat pumpkin all the Ghouls Rules dolls come with and a blue punch bowl with gold pyramid and snake accents. The punch is purple. A gold ladle and cup also come with the doll. Overall, I highly recommend Ghouls Rule Cleo de Nile.

My daughter wanted this doll so badly her birthday. Sadly i could only find it on Amazon. Our doll did not look the one in the pictures. For one thing, the hairbrush was black, not teal. I don't mean to nitpick but i was expecting teal. Another thing is the shoes are beyond impossible to get off. The doll's leg is now flimsy because we were trying to get the shoes off. And the bump in the back of the hair is hardly noticeable.

Pros-
* Beautiful make up
* Dress and shoes have stunning detail
* Nicer than some of her other MH dolls

cons-
*hands are hard to get back on after removing
* Shoes are impossible to get off
* hair doesn't have the bump in the back

Personally I don't see what the fuss is all about, but then again I'm not a seven year old girl. My granddaugtherwas very composed till she tore the paper then she was a ball of excitement. Pity her parents though as she already has a list of accesories she just has to have.

My daughter loves these dolls! She is 4 and even dresses up like them. The DVDs are also adorable. She doesn't have her yet, it's for her bday, but she keeps asking for her, she'll be soooo happy with her, she's in perfect condition.

Ghouls Rule Cleo de Nile

As always starting with the basics of the doll. Cleo, as with all of the Ghoul's rule dolls comes with a Stand, Ghouls Rule trading card, masquerade mask, trick or treat pail, and hair brush. Cleo also comes with another small play accessory for the Younger Monster high fan. Cleo seems to be the harder to find of this set, with perhaps Abbey being a bit harder to find, because of her store exclusivity. This particular Cleo is gorgeous and easily the second favorite in my Cleo collection.

Ghouls Rule Cleo's Outfit matches her dress from the Ghouls Rule Movie. The Style of her dress is very similar to Frankie's gown in this series. The bodice of her dress is a shimmering, gold fabric with a shiny turquoise bandage design. The lower half of her skirt is comprised of see-through, black tulle. Layering over the tulle is shimmering a turquoise material cut to mimic the design in her bodice. Giving interest and dimension to the gown.

Cleo's shoes are translucent turquoise with gold pyramid shaped, platform soles. The shoes are simple but none the less, statement making.

Adding to her mummy heritage are the black and gold mummy wrappings hung from the serpentine choker found around Cleo's neck. These bandages can be draped around Cleo's shoulders, like a wrap. Counted among Cleo's other accessories are two gold bangles and a set of earrings. One earring is a dangling gold snake, the other a simple gold stud. Her Masquerade mask is, of course done in a mummy wrap design.

This Particular Cleo has short chin length bob, that is styled with a small top knot and two thin braids. Familiar streaks of turquoise are rooted into the black wig along with a few shimmering black strands. Cleo's hairstyle stands up well after un-packaging with little need for restyling. As with all of the other Ghouls Rule Girl's Cleo's makeup is stunning and detailed. Kudos again to Mattel for making a beautiful Doll.

Of course I recommend getting this doll to anyone who is a Cleo Fan she is absolutely a must have.
