She came securely packaged, it took a few minutes to get her and her accessories free. She came dressed in a vinyl record themed dress in a 1950s sheath dress style, high heel'd roller boots, special masking helmet, and her little kneepads even had the monster high emblem on them. The clothing and accessories are all extremely cute and themed to match her "Monster Persona", the Daughter of the Phantom of the Opera. She also came with a neon green stand.
The doll herself is exceptional. I know this line has gotten criticism similar to Barbie and Bratz for having "unrealistic body image messages" but I'm an adult and these dolls, uh I mean collector's items, are for me not a kid, although if I had kids I'd let them play if they wanted to, I'm pretty confident that I could make sure they understand that the dolls aren't supposed to resemble how actual humans look.
Anyways, back to the doll. The molding is very nice, the joints on my particular doll are tight without being stiff or hard to pose. She has a gorgeous coquettish face and her hair is in a perky pony tail with a flip. I don't exactly know why they decided to add green highlights to her hair as none of her other doll versions have this. I didn't like it at first, but it is growing on me. Her hair style is not as elaborate as other Operetta versions, but it also did not come out of the box squashed like I have heard others did.
Overall I'm very satisfied with this purchase!
Operetta in person is SO much better - what you can't see under the helmet is that she has two green/black 'racing stripes' on the side of her head that are so cute! She has matching green makeup as well. Her hair is in a geled ponytail with a curl in the back.
Unusual for Operetta dolls, her monocal is attached to her helmet. Also unusual is that the helmet is split to make room for the ponytail in the back. The helmet is decorated with her trademark musical notes.
Operetta comes with a halter type dress with records as a pattern and a pink polka dot accent down the front. She has Monster High logo shinguards and white boots with translucent wheels that really roll. The hell of her boot is a musical note and also webs.
The nice thing about this outfit is that it really shows off her tattoos.
In all, really pleased with the entire Roller Maze line!
The best part of the doll is that her white bobbysocked, high heeled roller skates actually have moving wheels. This fascinates both of my older girls, which makes these cheaper dolls some of their favorites. The wheels are green and pink, and the "soles" are purple. The doll comes with a green stand and a trading card. No pet or brush.
