It really met or even exceeded my expectations. It brings out the best in my external audio speakers...from highs to lows...great stuff...highly recommended especially for audiophiles...

sounds good, looks nice. would like a 1/2meter lengh for close components.one would expect good sound but they are also attractive,a shorter cable option would clean up wire congestion & show the best parts

This is my 3rd set of Monster RCA Cable, but the only set comes with plastic connector body. The so-called "Striking Black Chrome Finish" is nothing but a coating over plastic. It looks striking, but feels really cheap. I thought I purchased a counterfeit on Amazon, which was not likely.

3/23/11 Update:
On 3/11/11, I emailed Monster Cable customer service about my concern. Upon their request, I sent the company photos of my 400i on 3/19/11. Today, Monster Cable confirmed back to me that the 400i I purchased from Amazon was a fake. Here is the email quote from Monster Cable, "The 400i are supposed to be metal shell connectors, I would say that the cables you received are definitely fakes."

4/18/11 Update:
On 4/1/11, Amazon issued full refund for my return. Thanks to their excellent 5-star customer service.
