For those of you that believe that this is nothing more than a high priced surge protector, you will be genuinely pleased and surprised at the difference this device makes in picture quality. I am not an electronics expert but this is a case of seeing is believing. I bought one of these for the plasma unit in my bedroom and the upgrade in picture quality was so great that I immediately purchased another unit for my other plasma TV. Unit arrived as described. No issues and nice black backround. I do not use this with home theater just two channel audio in my living room. Plenty of dedicated outlets on the back for amps, preamps, turntable, dac and of course CD players. The voltage readout on the front of the unit is also nice although it let me know that my house power can drop from 120 to less than 115 throughout the day. I would recommend the 3600 or 3600 MK2 to anyone looking for a high quality surge surpressor.

This equipment actually made a differnece in the quality of the picture on my TV by removing the noise from the commercial power.
