I just experienced a nasty power outage where two electric cables were glowing orange-red and almost started a fire. My trusty surge protector, once the electric was turned on via my fusebox when the electric was back, squealed due to its audio alarm. I plugged in each electronic device to see if they were okay and they were all fine. I now have to replace it (once a surge protector has done its job it is at least slightly damaged), but it saved me thousands of dollars and a lot of hassle.

I just received this today so I don't have much experience with it yet. However, I will just post my opinion on it, because I wanted to share that it does really improve the picture of my TV. When I connected the coax cable to my tv the picture was definitely better than before. The surge protector that I ordered was this one but what I received was dark gray in color which I actually like better than the white. It was the same model. However, if color matters to you maybe you should talk to the seller before ordering.

Very good product for the money. Should protect all valuable equipment. Lays out nice, labeled well, and has all the connections a person should need

I'm really not sure how it works but I had no issues so far. I liked the long cord and have multiple inputs available which replaced my two power extensions

Good product, if you desire to use each outlet to organize your plugs you can. Good length to cord for placement of protector.

Purchased this one as it was on sale. I purchased it to use with my new plasma tv and blue-ray player. I was able to use all the outlets for my equipment and it works great.

I like the labels and colors for each plug - helps to keep things simple. It seems like our picture is quite good but this is our first HD TV as well. I assume the filtering is working. The price was great and it works as expected!

One of the things you will notice with this is that if you have power sensitive equipment this will make sure you have a clean power source.
Granted this is much cheaper now than when they first came out ($13 vs $70) so that makes it much more bearable.
Another great feature is that each plug has enough space for wide plugs vs the surge protectors that are only designed to use the standard cords.

Overall for $13 it is just as good if not better than any cheapo power strip.

I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THIS ITEM, I NEEDED AT LEAST 1000 TO PROTECT MY HOME THEATER SYSTEM AND THIS CAME WITH 1500 , MORE THAN ENOUGH PROTRCTION.

I ALSO LIKE THE COLOR CODED AND NAME OUTLETS, GREAT PRODUCT AND GREAT PRICE.

You can't argue with Monster's quality. This works great, the long cord is huge plus. The only problem is in the names it has for the plugs. There is no label for Blu-Ray and there is one for VCR. This seems a little bit in the past, but besides this I have no complaints.
