Share your TV without waking the neighbors!
This is just what I needed to plug two studio headphones into the livingroom TV in my apartment. Now my guest and I can enjoy a movie together without disturbing the neighbors. Just plug the male end into the TV (at the headphone jack, of course), and plug each headphone into the two female ends. You may need an adapter to change your 1/4 inch plugs to 1/8 inch ones. waste of money
I purchased two of these items for my wifes and my laptops so we could have our speakers and headphones plugged in at the same time, the second you plug both items into splitter the volume go down to almost nothing, unplug on or the other items and the volume returns to normal. Nothing I could do change the way they worked. Just a waste of money for me, maybe someone else...

This is just what I needed to plug two studio headphones into the livingroom TV in my apartment. Now my guest and I can enjoy a movie together without disturbing the neighbors. Just plug the male end into the TV (at the headphone jack, of course), and plug each headphone into the two female ends. You may need an adapter to change your 1/4 inch plugs to 1/8 inch ones. Most studio headphones have at least a ten foot cord, so you can both sit pretty far away from the TV and not be bothered by any noise from your movie machine of choice. And, I'm confident of the quality of the Monster brand; I've used their products before for my cable needs.
