Engaging, quirky illustration, great story,

I checked out this book at my sister's house at a family gathering. I was impressed by Klug's interesting use of color and shade is his style of illustration. The story is a great monster-under-the-bed tale which is great for kids reaching that imaginative age, and the story is a real page-turner (well, for kids!).

Wonderfully engaging illustrations of monsters from everywhere make it clear to young readers that monsters can be friendly, funny, and helpful. The simple rhyming text uses humor to change fears to fun. A perfect nighttime story for any kid who wants a smile and a chuckle before falling asleep!
