This device works as advertised and seems to be well-constructed. But be aware that the picture associated with the description is actually for the reverse converter.

I had bought a Cables Unlimited DVI to HDMI cable due to its excellent review but was not satisfied with the image quality. I would see noise in the background on HD channels. I switched to this adapter and paired it with a Monster 300 HDMI cable and saw a significant difference. The picture was lot more vibrant and no noise in the picture. I'm a firm believer that good quality cables (not necessarily an expensive one) do make a difference.

I bought this item to plug into my computer and watch movies on my new 40in. samsung lcd. The image quality was great with the HDMI cables that I had. It took me a while to find the correct pixelation display on my laptop though. Besides that this is a great product. Im not sure it is worth the price thought. There are others that are cheaper, but Im not quite sure about the quality.
