This review is from: Monster Performer 500 Instrument Cable 21 ft. - straight 1/4 plugs P500-I-21 (Electronics)
Whether Monster cables are overly marketed or not, these are good solid cables with a lifetime warranty. We haven't had any problems with them so far. The little color rings could be easier to work with, but that's just a bonus customization. We found out that these cables also fit better than some cheaper cables. We put an identical cheaper cable into the 1/4" jack and found it to be somewhat loose where this held tightly. Good Solid Cable.

This review is from: Monster Performer 500 Instrument Cable 21 ft. - straight 1/4 plugs P500-I-21 (Electronics)
These are working just fine with no interference or hiss. I was concerned about sound degradation because of the 21ft cable lengths and also because I am using three performer cables simultaneously for a four cable method (4CM) from my GT10 EFX unit to my amp. I have had absolutely no issues and am getting very good signal clarity to the amp. I am very happy with these cables so far and will always buy monster as these are great value at the price and robust enough for gigging!

Good quality cable for the price,

This review is from: Monster Performer 500 Instrument Cable 21 ft. - straight 1/4 plugs P500-I-21 (Electronics)
Great cable for the price. Well built. Decent length. Connector is molded out of one piece of plastic and feels solid, 1/4" plug is strongly embedded into the connector body and doesn't move at all. Cable join is very flexible but sturdy. Mine have been tripped over multiple times but not been damaged. Gold plating is a nice touch. Very low noise. Grey connector looks a bit funny with my sunburst guitar but not a big deal. Interchangeable coloured bands are a good thought, but I don't really need them. There are cheaper (and better, more expensive) cables out there but I trust Monster to deliver on good build quality, low noise, and reasonable price!
