Monster Rancher: Battlecard episode II,

I think this title is a change from the original titles. I got it today 10/12/00 and it is quite well. I am a fan of monster rancher that might be why I like it. Well I had second thoughts of getting it but it was better than what I thought! (I like to say thought alot!). Alot better, and my best creature right now is a naga. Animation is also very cool.

I bought this game the week it came out. I was soo thrilled. There's Master Pabs(From MR2)! There's colt(from MR2)! and... hey! Colt dissapeared! That is what I thought when I first played this game. Don't get me wrong it's a good game. I loved this game, and I think it is one everyone should play. The only thing I didn't like was that the card battles are way too long. Heck, for tournaments, I have spent 3 hours when battling 4 people! But, I think everyone should play it.

Continuation of the Gamboy Game,

I have the first Episode on the Gameboy. The Episode II gets rid of the Dungeon Crawl and returns to the gameplay from the Monster Rancher game. Instead of raising monsters, you collect cards. The tornaments and the passage of time are exactly like the first Monster Rancher game. Plus, you can insert CDs to collect rare and random cards, just like the Monster Rancher. The attacks are animated like the cartoon show, and the strategy requires very tight control of resources. Graphics are phenominal on a big screen TV.

Way Better than Monster Rancher 2!!!!!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Monster Rancher Battle Card Episode II (Video Game)
This is a fun game! Once you get use of it.It is way better than Monster Rancher 2! Your monster don't go "DIEING" on you! Cause on here, they are cards! Also when you do an attack, they show a cartoon clip of your monster doing the attack to the other monster! So that's a cool thing! Like on the other ones you have Guts, which you use to perform attacks. To get more Guts you just shuffle your cards. It's really easy to play! One move that's cool is Golem's EarthQuake attack, that damages all of the other player's monsters![But also some of your own...]All in all this game is lots of fun!!! And if your having trouble choosing between Monster Rancher 2 and MonsterRancher BattleCard:Episode2,Please! Please! Get Monster Rancher BattleCard:Episode2!!! It's alot BETTER!!!! Believe ME!!! I was very Disappointed with Monster Rancher2!!!

Monster Rancher Battle Card Episode 2 is a fun little game, aimed at the younger gamers. It is rated E for Everyone, with some animated violence, nothing any worse than you will see in a Bugs Bunny cartoon. No blood, gore or anything like that. It's a card game baised on the Monster Rancher series. You collect cards, play and win or lose card games to move the story along. Even tho the game is rated E for Everyone, I feel very young kids will have problems understanding the card system. A bright 9 or 10 year old should be able to get it down pat, maybe needing some help. If you plan on buying this game, keep in mind you WILL need a copy that includes a manual, otherwise the kids may not be able to understand how the cards work at all. If you are a older gamer you may want to pass this one by.
