A friend told me about the Monster Mini Vac. for floors. I use it on wood floors. It is very light weight, goes under most furniture and easy to use. At the end you must clean out the filter and that is also easy to do. the size makes storage easy too. When my friend bought hers years ago, they were $65. Now the price is $35. I will never use a dry dust mop again. This is the way to go.

Euroflex Mini Stick Monster,
This review is from: Monster Mini Stick Bagless Vacuum Cleaner (Kitchen)
Very powerful motor so it has nexcellent suction. But...a very small dirt cup making it clog up very quickly. If your a clean freak and vacuum alot, should not be a problem. But for those who vacuum less frequently just be aware that you will have to empty the thing alot. Works good on wood floors, not so good on carpet because as you pull it backwards, rather then roll it tends to lift up from the carpet. So you can only vacuum in a forward direction. 5 stars for suction, 3 stars for ease of use, 1 star for size of dirt cup and clogging fliter.

Careful look at this cleaner gives up it pedigree: hand held unit. Then, somebody not so smart, decided to upgrade it to the floor cleaner. It was a dumb idea.It has a powerful motor, cleans just fine. BUT! It is as user friendly, as a dead herring. Looks like it was put together by the first year students of the mechanical college. I hope you got my drift. I think, if it would be redesigned from ground up, based on the nice suction system, with some brains put into it, it will have 5 stars. At present - just 2.

Noisy, cheap and will scratch your hardwood floor!,

This is a hand-held vacuum that came out too noisy, with an overkill power and therefore they decided to (cheaply and poorly) adapt it to a floor vacuum. Its only good qualities are that it's light and relatively cheap, although still not worth the price, both of which will make it easier when I throw it in the garbage, where it belongs. It was an aggravation to use, and here is why.It is as noisy as hell, disassembles while using it (what the...?), it is made in cheap plastic and the floor "brush" scratched my hardwood floor, so I can only use it on tiles. Kind of works on carpet in that the suction is good -better be for all the noise it makes- but it does not slide properly because the "brush" has no rolls and it's basically just a plastic hose molded to vaguely resemble a brush. I bought it to replace my lightweight bagless Hoover Runabout (out of production- sigh!), in which the swivel neck cracked. I am definitely going to put this little "Monster" in the garbage and buy another bagless lightweight vacuum.

I was disappointed about these features:,

I bought this after having and being used to the Hoover Flair (which broke at the swivel neck----my fault though). I thought I'd give another vacuum, the Euroflex, a chance but there were several features I didn't like It didn't glide over the carpet. I would have to push it hard and then it would stop every 6 inches or so and require me to back it up and push it again. The on/off switch was near the bottom requiring me to bend over if I wanted to turn it off for a second. The third feature I didn't like is fat tube in the middle of the vac got in the way of it fitting easily under and between hard to reach places that the Hoover Flair did so well. One feature it has that the Hoover Flair didn't is that it comes apart so you can use it as a handheld vac--but that isn't a feature I needed. I returned it after using it once and ordered another Hoover Flair---which I am again very happy with.

Right out of the box, as I was putting it together, the button used to release the dirt compartment broken off-though the part didn't seem essential. There was also pretty limited suction, especially compared to the product description. I returned it immediatly.

I received the mini vacuum in a timely amount of time..but it is not of any use. The suction is awful and the ad was extremely misleading.I should have done more "homework" before I ordered this. lesson learned. |
