This CD rocks with brains. It's impossible to tell whether they are in extreme pain or having the time of their lives. Or both. The musicianship is excellent, and the writing very thoughtful.
Buy it!

This CD is just wonderful. I know the members of the band and believe me is really is "Just about Songs". And good songs they are!

This is an excellent CD. It shows the high quality of its members and their musical talents. Besides the song "Monster In My Stomach" my personal favorite has to be "Wrong With You." All of the songs have very catchy tunes and it is definitely a CD worth buying! Mr. Kyle, you have outdone yourself once again!

I have to say....I have a lotta CD's. Everything from the Backstreet Boy's to Etta James, and when I purchased NMM i was a litle worried it would go down to my "To Be Thrown Out" pile of CD's. But it wasn't at all!!!!! NMM is one of the best CD's I own...it's songs have real definition and quality and I reccomend it to anyone who enjoys some down-to-earth quality music. So what are you waiting for???? BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love lots of different kinds of music,but this cd reminded me why rock is my favorite type of music. The lyrics are soo smart,so meaningful, and most of all they're fun. Many times the words of some of the songs have brought me to tears, while others have made me laugh. I can identify with the subject matters of all of the songs,and thats what makes this album so great. Its real and its honest. Nine Mens Morris are great musicans, and they are great live too. I can only hope that they, in time recieve the world wide attention and respect that they deserve.They are truley the ideal American Rock Band.

Like the other reviews I've read, this CD hasn't left my stereo since I picked it up. The lyrics are compelling and the music is riveting. Makes for great Rock-n-Roll!!! Thanks Bruce, Perry and Donald... Highly recommended!!!

I love this CD! Each song has a unique quality that draws the listener in. I especially like "Wrong with You" and I find myself singing the lyrics to several of the songs as they are stuck in my head!

If you dig songwriting with punch and great playing, get this record. Its hard to believe it's their first album. Aside from gems like Everything, Christine, and Rainstorm, this CD is mercifully free of filler--the songs are consistently first-rate. Recommended.

Just got this with my latest Amazon batch and it kills. I love checking out new bands and wish I knew where to catch them, 'cause the CD sounds like they're great live. The title track and She Was Something are worth the price of the CD by themselves.
