My 5 year old loves this game since he can crush cars in his monster truck. It is appropriate for even the youngest kids since it is easy to drive and the trucks can even climb buildings.

Cons---
If you want more than one player, the games aren't very fun. Mario Kart is a much better game for learning how to race and having more than one player. It won't interest anyone above the age of 8 or so.

Pros---
Affordable. Great first game for the young truck lover in the family.

Moral of the story---
If you have a young child who likes to play with cars, they will most likely enjoy the game until they become bored of the same graphics and same vehicles. But older children most likely will not enjoy it much at all.

My son is 4 years old. He loves this game. It does take some practice to get the hang of it but he learned quickly.
