My 4-year-old son is hugely into Monster Trucks and Monster Jam, so this book is a great pleaser for him. This is the perfect book for young ones who love anything with wheels on it (especially when they're big wheels).

Awesome book for beginning readers. Easy to read text and great photos of all your Monster Jam favorites. There's even a one-page golssary at the end with simple terms like engine, body, frame and my son's favorite new term: "mud-bogging".

I have three year old twin boys who love this book. It is a very basic book- great for introducing children to monstertrucks. It's a favorite bedtime book.

This book is very small and thin. I thought it would be the usual size of a children's book with a hard cardboard cover. Instead it is a small and thin booklet with card stock like cover. Also I paid $10! Certainly not worth the cost in my opinion.

Most easy readers are short basic stories that get old quickly. These little books (Pull Ahead - Mighty Movers series) are different. They are non-fiction learning experiences filled with information little kids, particularly boys, want to know. The topics covered in these books are myriad and they are all well written. They are easy enough for little ones to read, and still provide challenges as they include more technical terms like "tread" and "engine". Certain words are in bold. These are words that are included in the glossary in the back. There is also an index, a fun facts page, and a diagram labeling the various parts.

For being and easy reader, it doesn't get any better than this!

Children will love this beautifully illustrated introduction to monster trucks. You may even have to read it to them every night before bed!

This was given to my 4-year old son for Christmas 2006. He loves it and we have read it 50 times over. There are some great shots of Monster Trucks and it describes the differnet parts that make up a Monster Truck, cab, roll bar, body, tires, etc. My son wanted a Monster Turck book for Christmas nad this is exactly what he wanted.

I bought this book for my 4 year old grand son because it was on his Amazon wish list. I don't think anyone realized how small it was when they added it to the list. I was disappointed in the size. It has easily gotten lost on the self with the more substantial books. Someone mentioned that it was more like a pamphlet and I agree. I am a big proponent of children having books from a young age but I hardly consider this a "book". Although any child that likes monster trucks would enjoy this book, i would not purchase it again. I would have liked at least a thicker cover and a little more substance to the book itself.

This book was purchased for my nephew. I had the impression that the book would be larger and contain more content. Even so it entertained him. He knew the names of some of the trucks in the book, but was introduced to more.

i got this book for my son who loves grave digger! i though what a great way to get him reading as well, but the book is small.. not to apealing to him at 5 yrs old. the shipping was on time and the book was of good quality, thank you
