This review is from: Monster Zero (Paperback)
Snodgrass' first book, Monster Zero, engages with his childhood as a white American kid growing up on military bases in Japan. Godzilla becomes an ally to him as well as a metaphorical self. A smart exploration of the cultural outsider, Monster Zero is also a fun read. I recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars What is Monster Zero?, January 9, 2007
This review is from: Monster Zero (Paperback)
So what is Monster Zero, Munster Xerox, Mon Stir Zee Row,Mans Tar Z Ear O, or Mon Star Cero?

One may come to the conclusion Monster Zero is a bundle of repressed memories, packaged tightly with cellophane wrapping, thrown into an empty warehouse, hoping to be discovered before being entombed by dust.
