Editorial Reviews

From the beginning of time, mankind has been riveted by accounts of mysterious creatures, from werewolves to vampires and more. MONSTERQUEST: MOVIE MONSTERS goes in search of the earth s most elusive and mysterious monsters, to uncover the famous mystery creatures that serve as the basis for some of Hollywood s all-time blockbusters.

Most of what we know of these creatures comes from campfire stories, blurry films and grainy photographs. In these four chilling episodes of MONSETRQUEST, HISTORYTM brings science and technology to bear on these creatures of legend and seeks confirmation of their existence. Combining open-eyed historical research, state-of-the-art equipment and high-tech expeditions, each episode examines the best evidence available, from pictures and video, to hair and bones, to actual eyewitness accounts.

MOVIE MONSTER episodes include:
Jaws In Illinois
Swamp Stalker
American Werewolf
Vampires in America

Love MonsterQuest but don't plan on buying this since the four episodes are repeats from the previous MonsterQuest series - for what they are asking for this buy an entire season and get about ten stories!

4 of 4 people found the following review helpful By The Eye on June 26, 2010
Format: DVD
This compilation of shows from MonsterQuest series. The MonsterQuest crew examine the evidence supporting the existence of four "monsters" featured in movies and literature. The segments are amusing, somewhat informative, and disturbing at times, but ultimately the evidence for the existence of the monsters examined is inconclusive. If you already own a library MonsterQuest DVDs you probably have these segments.
