The whole design is so bad. Bullet stuck most of the time. Pull the handle to shoot is the worst ever. The scope will not stay on the blaster. All and all, 0 star if I could

Bought two for two children, opened the first and the darts will not load into the pressure chamber and thus the gun does not function at all. Closer examination indicates that the base of each foam dart is slightly too large to fit into the pressure chamber and the dart is not held with enough tension. The dart just gets pushed into the barrel loosely without sealing off. It must go half way into the chamber in order to be shot out. If you are stuck with this toy, pull the cocking handle back and then bop it rather firmly and you might get it to work part of the time. You could try to taper the back of the darts a bit if you are an adult and can do so safely, but if you change the diameter too much or for too great a length, you will not be able to launch it either. I returned both units because they are defective in design and will not function as promised.

I bought this gun for my son and one for a friend. The darts split in half or peel after 1-2 uses! They are cheaply made, and the design is poorly done. The top piece kept falling off and it was totally frustrating. We threw them out in less than a week. I only paid like $6-7 each, and I would not pay $1 for these again. We replaced it with the Nerf Nitefinder, and it was a hit, and very durable- I would recommend buying that instead!

1.0 out of 5 stars What a hunk of junk!, March 20, 2010
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars

We bought this for our little guy shortly after the movie came out and sure enough it looked great, but durability was a major flaw. They skipped out on quality so badly that the gun broke apart almost as soon as it was pulled from the box. We were lucky to have purchased it locally so we were able to bring it back. I would say the plastic was on par with those grocery/dollar-store store toys and no where near that of Nerf. They probably new the run of Monsters vs Aliens would be short lived and tried capitalized on it by making a cool looking gun as cheaply as possible for max profits over childhood fun.

We bought two of these for our boys for Christmas. I do not recommend them to anyone, the bullets get jammed and it doesn't shoot. The pieces fall off before you can even play with it. I truly believe that I would have been better off buying an empty box, at least it would have been durable.

Gave this to my six year old son for his birthday. Hard for him to cock and only shot two darts out when it got jammed. After disecting it we found the spring had fallen apart. Very dissapointing, it looked cool and he thought he was realy going to have some fun but it ended up in the trash.

This dart gun is a piece of junk. It does hold all six of the darts in the magazine and my 7 year old daughter can cock the gun, that is why I am giving it 2 stars as opposed to only one. The darts are irreplacable and the gun feels and looks like it is made from the cheapest plastic available. We also got Nerf guns which only cost a little more but are far superior!

Overall the toy id not a great design. If you have a child that just wants a toy to pretend with this is fine, But if you want to get it to work properly you will be disappointed. I gave it one star because overall it looks nice, and great for pretend,

This toy is poorly designed. It is hard for my child to cock-it back so I need to do it over and over again. The darts stick. If they get chewed up/broken I don't see anywhere to get more darts. Don't waste your money, buy the Nerf Recon C-6. MUCH better toy for the money and you can buy replacement darts.

I agreed with the previous review. If I could give this a 0, I would. The quality is not that great. It came with six foam dart. I don't know where to get the dart, if I loose them all. It looks cool on the web but shooting is very cheap. I would save the money and buy Nurf.
