I was shocked when I opened the box and seen how big this toy is. B.O.B is gonna be apart of my collection, so I won't be taking him out of the box. I noticed the Material they made him, it's real rubbery type that would pick up dirt and grim real easy. If I had a child this toy would not see the light of day with them. I can only imagine the dirt and grim this toy would have. However for adult collectors it's worth the money. I would of never paid the [...] in the stores for this, but at [...] it was a steal.

I bought this for my three year old daughter. I had to throw away the slime that came with it because it was getting everywhere (what can you expect from a three year old.) Other than the that, she loves the toy. It is very durable as she is constantly pulling at his arms and they have not come off yet.

its very fun except without the slime and by itself, its kinda boring, the slime stays together and doesnt ozooe all over the table. you can get this for a kid any age, but if you are getting for a kid 4 and below, take away the slime.

I bout a million of these guys for my son's birthday giveaway one year and it worked out great. The kids love the goo that come with it. It looked just like the birthday cake we had which was a three dimensional blob so the kids felt like they were taking away part of the party with them.

I purchased Bob for my best friend and she harrassed me for days because she figured out that he was nearly a puppet: she was able to fit her hand inside his hollow body and make him talk. It didn't help that she could also mimic his silly voice, either. So I had to forcibly take Bob away from her and put him on top of her cabinet at work where he now has his mouth full of rubber erasers.

If you know a child under the age of 45 that talks in silly voices, is often obnoxious and/or might try to pull off Bob's eye off so they can eat it, then this might not be a wise purchase. But if you have friend who makes you laugh hysterically and loves blue cartoon monsters, then this is an excellent stocking stuffer for you.

The movie came out a while ago, but it's fun and Bob is very cute; just keep him away from cat hair and obnoxious persons of any age who might chase you around with him in public.

My 4yr old loves the movie and likes using this as a puppet to amuse her 1yr old sister. pretty awesome...wouldn't pay more than $10 though.

We bought Bob for my 6 year old son along with Ginormica for my 9 year old. Bob is incredibly durable. The abuse Bob has taken is enormous. He stretched Bob so wide I was amazed it didn't rip apart. My son enjoyed it although not as much as my 9 year old liked Ginormica. He really liked playing with the goop but it didn't last long as dirt and stuff got into it (plus it smells really toxic). I was personally happy to see the goop gone. They both enjoyed putting their hands in it and using it as a hand puppet. For the price Bob was well worth it.

We got several of the Monsters vs. Aliens action figures for our son for Christmas. He plays very rough with his toys, so durability is very important to me. These toys are great. They are large and durable. The arms and legs do come off if pulled, but they snap right back on. There was a large grouping of kids gathered for the holidays, and they all enjoyed playing with these toys.

Bob the Blob does come with "slime", which doesn't serve any purpose expect making a mess. We did put it inside the figure, as instructed, but it didn't do anything fun. It was just messy. I would suggest letting the kids play with the slime by itself.

I bought this for my 3 year old, so I didn't even give him the slime that came with it. I knew he liked Monsters vs. Aliens so I got this. It is one of his favorite toys now. He likes to put his hand inside of it. He also likes to bite it for some reason, but it is very durable. He has not damaged it yet! Great for any B.O.B. fan.

Gave this to my daughter for her 10th birthday and it was a big hit. Once she opened it, none of the kids would leave it alone. They loved the slime it came with. I will say it does not "suck up" anything like the description stated. But, once they placed the slime in it, they had a lot of fun with it. Doesn't do much, but is a fun novelty item. Has not been played with since the party, so will likely just decorate our movie theater with our Monsters vs. Aliens poster.
