Amazon.com Product Description

Based on the all-new movie from the creators of Toy Story 2 and A Bug's Life, this game allows you to participate in the adventures of Boo, who has accidentally returned to Monstropolis, and Sulley, who must get her home safely. Unfortunately, the pesky Randall is aware of the situation and has shredded Boo's door in an attempt to stop them. Will you help Sulley get Boo home? You will explore 10 huge levels of Monstropolis, including bonus minigames and puzzles. A random map generator creates a different game every time. You can use Sulley's roar attack or the dreaded laugh launcher to avoid enemies and bosses. The intuitive control system includes an in-game map display, so you always know where you are.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice, September 27, 2002

Yana (Pachuca, Hidalgo Mexico) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Monsters, Inc. (Video Game)
I've had this game since I got my PS2, so this was my first close encounter to PS games. I hadn't played any videogame related since Pokemon. Now, I actually made it to the third level in a day so I supposed this one may not have been actually so difficult. I think this game is nice but sure some times gets tedious when all of your quests are quite the same.

Though, the extras are great! I recomend this to any Monsters Inc fan and not very young kinds (-6).

2.0 out of 5 stars Too tough for younger kids, March 26, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Monsters, Inc. (Video Game)
I bought this for my 5 & 7 year old sons. The graphics do look great but it is too tough for them to play. They got frustrated very quickly with the puzzle like play. I think this game would be great for preteens.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not easy..., October 7, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Monsters, Inc. (Video Game)
I bought this game for my daughter because she simply adored Monsters Inc and really loved the first playstation game. But even though it's rated E, it's a pretty hard game for smaller kids. My daughter is six and it frustrated her to no end. She didn't know what she was supposed to do, and when she finally figured that part out she didn't know how to go do it. I really wished I had rented it first instead of blowing 40 bucks on something she played for a total of 20 minutes. My advice for parents: rent it before you buy it, especially if you're buying with younger children in mind.
