Bernhardt Hurwood collected over forty historical accounts of werewolves, vampires, necrophiles, and other weird phenomena including the legend of the phantom bowmen of Mons who helped turn the tide of World War I. Interesting and unusual reading with about fifteen full-page vintage illustrations dating from ancient ancient Egypt to the Victorian era.
