My son just went through two brain surgeries and we were in the hospital for 5 weeks. One of his grandparent's friend's gave him a gift card for Amazon.com and he was soooooo excited about buying his own games for his computer. Now just like two of the other three reviews the game does not work on his computer. The computer does not even recognize the disk as being in the drive! What upsets me is that this was not my money that got wasted but my child's money. DO NOT WASTE YOUR (or your child's) MONEY ON THIS!

My 6 year old boy had no problem installing and playing this game. I don't know what went wrong with the other reviewers' computers, but you do have to have a DVD ROM and a decent video card (Requires ATi Radeon X800 128mb RAM or NVDIA GeForce 6600, so that may be part of it. On XP, it didn't automatically start itself for install, but we just went and clicked on the file manually and it was fine. It works on both our Windows XP and Windows 7 computers. He loves Monsters vs. Aliens and loves everything about this PC game. It has super duper graphics, sound, and matches the movie perfectly! This one will not disappoint.

It would be a lot of fun if we could play it. But it's not compative with our computer programs Windows XP or Windows Vista. The software is too new for the game. It arrived in great condition and my son was so excited to have it but it's too slow for the software. sad.
