While this particular collection DOES have a lot of interesting ideas, I find that if you own the Van Richten's Guides, you're better off creating your own beasts. Still, this DOES contain a great deal of information, and shouldn't be passed up if you can get it for a reasonable price.

I own this book, it is Really cool. It tells everything you need to know about the monsters in Ravenloft. From Werewolves to Zombies, From Vampires to Vampire Bats. It is really good for the DM who is running a campaign.
