Montana -- Wild And Beautiful II, June 11, 2010
This review is from: Montana Wild and Beautiful II (Hardcover)
Montana -- Wild And Beautiful II is an excellent photograph book by Chuck Haney and John Reddy. I particularly liked the photographs of the barren church in the ghost town of Dooley in northeastern Montana (page 4), the continuous forest of tall evergreen trees around Miner Lake (pages 22-23), the reddish-orange-colored rocky rising land around rimrocks (pages 24-25), the vast Swiftcurrent Lake with the surrounding mountains' reflections on the still water (page 49), the haunting dark light around the water of Ninepipe Reservoir with the towering snow-streaked Mission Mountains in the background (pages 60-61), the thick-trunked fallen tree extending across and above the water of McDonald Creek (page 71), and the mountain lion carefully stepping on the rocks of a stream (page 115).
