This review is from: Montanas Hi-Line (Paperback)
After riding Amtrak's Empire Builder across the vast expanse of Montana's Hi-Line, I went looking for books about this area. There just aren't many. The best I found is Daniel N. Vichorek's "The Hi-Line: Profiles of a Montana Land," published in 1993. Vichorek, a Montana native, historical writer and journalist, writes knowledgeably about the tiny towns and big spaces strung out a the BNSF mainline and U.S. Highway 2.
