Montauk The Disappearances,
By Adele Gainey (MOUNT VERNON, NY, US) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Montauk: The Disappearances (Paperback)
This book was littered with typing erors and grammatical errors throughout! Although his descriptions of the Island are spot on, I was greatly disappointed by the lack of proof reading that would have been necessary to make this a good read beach book, not to mention the price.

An Absorbing Mystery Suspense,
By
This review is from: Montauk: The Disappearances (Paperback)
A brilliantly constructed suspense novel in which the author has captured the true essence of the small fishing village of Montauk, NY. With a strong sense of setting, characters that seem to pop from the page to the very real description of the competitive world of deep sea fishing. This author has quite a few surprises in store right to the very end. I found this novel to be very engrossing and satisfying - a hard one to put down!
I eagerly await and look forward to the authors next novel!

MONTAUK INTRIGUE,
This review is from: Montauk: The Disappearances (Paperback)
Montauk, a pretty famous village in the USA, now has a first time novel set right in this fishing hamlet and what an alluring plot Richard Prince has woven! Subtle humor, winning characters, exciting fishing and an unusual, quirky mystery enchants Prince's audience. Definitely different, delicious, deadly and downright dynamic!
