Different but still great,

This album is quite different from say... Powerbait. Seems to me that the band put more time into the music..the songs are more elaborate then the previous albums. the result is a great Digger album, just as unique as the others. If you don't have a Digger cd yet, I'd get Powerbait first. Monte Carlo is still a great album though..

Digger, matured and better than ever,

I own all of the digger cd's and have loved them ever since i heard "blocked up" on the hopeless sampler cd. This album is amazing and there is a lot of effort put in by the guys in this band. Sure it's a different sound, that sound is talent, not conformist four chord punk. Buy this cd, it's unbelievable.

benner has no soul,

An amazing progression from the earlier records to this one. A great release. The music is tight, the production(especcially on 'feeling what Im thinking') is great, and the length is just right. The lyrics is what got me though. The most introspective and sincere lyrics yet. "And what seems like wasted time may wind up being the best days of my life"

Their best yet,

I've been a Digger fan ever since i saw them live and was blown away. This cd is a great piece of work, basically the only reason i don't give it 5 stars is because, although the songs are great, the whole disc does seem to blur together slightly, even after a month of listening. The production is superb, every band member is a master of their instrument, and the songs are filled with a complexity not usually found in punk. The songwriting is more polished and focused than earlier cds. Rather than just putting the same chords in a different beat, they keep expanding sonically, often abandoning traditional song structure and standard chords for something totally unique, yet still punk.

I have been following digger since they started and from the first time i heard them i loved them. All of their albums are good. It seems like everytime they should give up they come back with a vengence. anyone who loves catchy rock n roll should buy this, enough said.
