I collect western movie soundtracks because the music makes me think of the western landscape and has an American sound that was pioneered by composer Aaron Copland. This collection hits the mark because you can close your eyes and imagine yourself riding alone somewhere in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. It is big, grand and dramatic.
