This product is very effective with treating the fungus if the directions are followed. Apply in early spring,
and then mid summer. Great product.
It really worked for my needs.
Agri-Fos is one of the least expensive fungicides that will treat root rot, plus it is systemic so it circulates throughout the plant. There are some others such as Mefenoxam (Subdue MAXX), Azoxystrobin (Heritage) but they are much more expensive and are harder to find from professional suppliers.
I used Agri-Fos to save four avocado trees. I used special spring-loaded injectors to force a dilute solution of Agri-Fos into the trunk over a few hours. Previously the avocado tree leaves always had brown edges and the trees looked like they were dying. A few months after the Agri-Fos injections, the trees have vigorous new green growth.
I will always keep this handy in the gardening shed for Pythium root rot.
