This is the only thing that I have found that has allowed me to have any success in battling bermuda grass in my yard.

This product will stop Bermuda grass and not harm Fescue grass. It's expensive but does the job.

great product for controlling burmuda grass that is invading fescue. It takes more than one treatment but it works better than anything else I have tried.

This product (triclopyr) does work to kill Bermuda. However, it is not the most effective. For Fescue / bluegrass lawns, use Ornamec. Much cheaper when diluted and much more powerful. Actually, ornamec is best when mized with the active ingredient in Turflon Ester. Instead of this expensive container of Turflon Ester, you can buy it in smaller sizes at most home and garden stores as Ortho Clover and Oxalis killer ($8 / pint)- just verify the ingredient as Triclopyr. Just mix 1oz per each gallon of the diluted Ornamec. This will give you the best control and will, when the ornmaec directions are followed, actually kill the Bermuda better than anything else.

Note - Ornamec will kill Rye grass, but Triclopyr will not.

After the first application, the bermuda grass withered, and the fescue looks great. I know that the bermuda grass roots are still alive and well, so will continue to apply this product periodically to keep everything in check. This bottle seemed expensive at first, but will probably last me several years... in that respect, seems like a bargain!

I have used Turflon for years now. After trying other products, to kill Bermuda Grass, I have found nothing that works as well as this, without damaging or stressing the Fescue. Bermuda is very difficult to kill and control, but this does the job.

I've been using this stuff for years on "wild" bermuda coming through into my fescue lawn. It works great and is easy to use.

It is the only stuff that I have found that works on the dreaded Burmuda grass... barring the herbicides that leave big dead spots.
