Snails and Slugs... GONE !,
By
This review is from: Monterey LG6515 Sluggo Snail & Slug Control For Organic Gardening - 1 lb Shaker Can (Lawn & Patio)
This is the BEST stuff ! Cake to apply, and, it works wonders !We used to 'hunt' slugs at night to try and get them under control, it was awful ! We could get 100 slugs a night, every single night. We knew there had to be an easier way... and, SLUGGO was it ! Once we applied this, within a week, we saw no more slugs ! It was 5 or 6 months later that we saw another one, so, we reapplied, and never saw another one 'til the following late spring. So, in short, we apply twice a year now, and we have no slugs at all ! This is SAFE for pets too !

Safe and effective, the easiest way to get rid of slugs,
By Use Sluggo (or any other product made with iron phosphate) instead. It's easy to use - just sprinkle the pellets around any areas with slug problems and your problems will be gone in a day. The slugs eat the pellets, immediately cease feeding and crawl off to die. When the pellets disappear, you can sprinkle more as needed. But usually, one treatment does the trick for awhile. Other organic methods of slug control, particularly pans of beer, really did nothing but attract the slugs to the garden. A few got drunk and drowned, but many more did not. This stuff will shut them down on the spot...without hazard to the other critters and insects. Sluggo has a new product, Sluggo Plus, which has Spinosad added to it. I may try that when I set my baby seedlings out, just in case the pillbugs decide to have a snack. Normally, pillbugs are a good addition to my compost pile, but they can wreck new seedlings.

Slugo works, but,

Slugo works good but rain and regular watering breaks it down, so try keep it dry. The slugs will return if you don't reapply Slugo every two weeks.I like this product because it's safer to use around pets than Ortho's product to rid snails. Ortho's slug bait contains a rat poison as the active ingredient and it can kill pets because it attracts them also.

this past springs i had a snail invasion. having 4 toy dogs i had to find something that would work and wouldn't hurt them. the dogs didn't even pay attention to what looked like white mouse droppings. this product works and doesn't hurt your plants at all.

We had some plants that after they were done flowering, were practically destroyed by slugs. I cut away all the dead remains and most of the yellowed, eaten leaves. The slugs were absolutely gross! I put on the Sluggo and the plants have been saved with a lot of new growth! It's been a few weeks and I'm going to reapply but Sluggo did the job! I like it that it's an organic product that won't harm wildlife and pets.

Just sprinkle some of this around where the slugs are and they are gone. I sprinkle it around my front porch and never see them again. Great deal. Glad there is a product like this.

Like many others who bought this product are pet owners and was concern about the health of their animals. I bought this a month ago and used it. My title says it all: "WORKS LIKE A CHARM". No my slugs at night, empty shells from snails. I can walk around my backyard at night knowing I'm not stepping on something gross.Perfect product. Not a single con

Every year I fight garden slugs, and every year I am sorry to say, they win. I've tried everything from beer to cucumbers, to products like Ortho - nothing worked. Finally I tried this, and at last, the slug population is dying! I put this down in the spring and it killed off all of the adult slugs. Unfortunately now their babies are hatching, so I have to start the process again. But I am ready this time!

birds like to eat it!?,

It is definitely effective. I apply it around my plants and there is no more slug damanage. However, the pellets disappear very fast. I have no idea what eat them. It is impossible for slugs to eat so much. I suspect it is the birds? The pellets look like food! Anyone has same problems? I have to reapply every several days since they disappear so fast in my garden.
