Beautiful Crib- AWESOME Price!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Monterey Sleigh Crib - White (Baby Product)
I thought for the price of this crib the quality just wouldn't be there. I couldn't have been more wrong. It is Beautiful! It took me 10 minutes, literally to put it together. I loved the fact of not needing tools to put it together as well. The side rails are so easy. You don't have to push the rail into the crib and wake the baby up, just pull two little release levers. My Husband even said that he thought it would be a project and it was a snap. I couldn't have asked for a nicer crib.

I absolutely love this crib! I assembled it by myself when I was 8 months pregnant, and it only took about 15 minutes. It is very stylish and looks great in our nursery. (we bought the matching changing table too) I am impressed with the quality I got for the low price that I paid- the crib I had originally picked out was more $ and looked almost identical to this one! I love that it has slats on all 4 sides so you can look in and see your baby no matter how the crib is positioned. Also, the sleigh rails on the ends are a great place to hang a cute blanket or quilt (before your baby is old enought to grab them and pull them in). It is really convienient that both sides drop down too. I knew when I bought it that it would require 2 hands to raise/lower the sides. I just leave the side down when I take my baby out so that I don't have to lower it with him in my arms when I put him back in. Then I raise it once he's in the crib. It's never been a hassle for me. I can't wait to see it as a daybed and a toddler bed, I'm sure it will be adorable. The only complaint that I have is the plastic pieces that the sides slide up and down on had paint on them. I think that it was overspray from when the crib was painted. Maybe this was just an accident in the manufacture of my crib- I haven't seen anyother complaints about it. The paint flakes/chips off easily, and I was concerned that my son would end up ingesting the paint when he starts teething. I scratched it off with my fingernails when I put the crib together, and it wasn't a big deal, only took a few minutes. The plastic is white anyway, so removing the paint didn't alter the appearance. If it weren't for that, I definitely would have given it 5 stars. This is a wonderful piece of furniture for any nursery!

Super Value!,

I think this crib is an excellent buy! I was looking at the Pottery Barn sleigh crib which looks exactly the same, but is [more expensive], and happened to come across this one. It was so easy to put together. My six year old and I put it together in about 20 minutes. It's very sturdy, which was my major concern. I love the fact that it converts so my baby can use it through her toddler years. The style is great and very classic looking. I still can't believe that I found it for this price.

Wonderful Crib!!,

I wasn't sure what kind of crib I was going to get since this is our first baby, but I read the online reviews and everyone was pleased with it. My husband loves that it is a 3-in-1 crib. I love the sleigh-bars on the sides because I can hang her beautiful blankets that family and friends have given her on them and they hang safely away from her. I am so pleased with this crib! If you have any doubts, get rid of them!!

Pleasing to the eye and the wallet,

I bought this crib when I was 8 months pregnant and thought that I was going to need help putting it together...well I got it together by myself in about 15 minutes! I take a side rail off when I change the sheets and it make everything sooo easy. Another review said that using two hands to drop the side is a hassle with a baby in your arms, I thought this as well until I got my daughter home and realized that it is pointless to raise the side rail after taking her out of her crib. But to each their own.

Great Crib!,

This is a very affordable and sturdy crib. We bought two of these for my twin nieces. We don't have any problems with legs or arms getting caught in the slats (it's called a bumper pad, people!). The twins are now 17 months old, and these cribs are still just as sturdy as the day we set them up. As for the set up, it was simple and easy, as long as you follow the directions. We have experienced no problems with this crib, and are extremely happy with the purchase. It goes to show you that you don't need to spend $400 on a crib, when this one is just as good, if not better.

a mother of four boys,

We needed an extra crib because our 22 month old is still in the one that we have had for 11 years. This crib will not last 1 year. We got this for our 5 month old and it is not made that durable!! We have four boys and the older crib is made more durable. This will last for a couple of months just long enough to let our 22 month get used to a toddler bed and we can go back to using the older crib. Spend the extra money and get a better bed so it will last through other children!!!

Misleading Description,
By A Customer
This review is from: Monterey Sleigh Crib - White (Baby Product)
Since I'm on bedrest, I had to do everything on-line. I was excited to find this crib (3 in 1)for the price that it is. We finally got it home and my husband tried to put it together and discovered that it is only a 2 in 1 (NO DAY BED). We called the local babies r us (where we purchased the item), emailed Delta, but we have a stong suspicion that the description was incorrect. This is a nice crib, didn't take much time to put it together. But we are very disappointed to discover the above. So for those of you who bought one already and those we are thinking about buying one, you may be disappointed like us if you planned to use it as a day bed as well. Keep in mind that the weight limit is only 50 lbs.

I am amazed at how simple this crib was to put together. We had it set up in less than 10 min. The crib is very sturdy. You don't have to put the wheels on the bottom either.

Arm stuck in crib,
By A Customer
This review is from: Monterey Sleigh Crib - White (Baby Product)
We purchased this crib for our son because the price was right, it looked nice and it seemed very sturdy. All of this is true, however, I have one major problem with this crib - my son's arm keeps getting stuck between the rungs. It is a major problem! I do not know if another crib would be any better, but if I had it to do over again, I would have looked more closely at the amount of space between the rungs of the crib.
