An excellent highliter for a multi-point pen
The ink is very bright, almost florescent. It also is broad, much broader than you would expect in a medium point. However, I wasn't buying it to write with, I already have a blue and a red ink refill, along with a mechanical pencil point, in my pen for that. I bought this to act as a highlighter and it is perfect for that!

not medium point
The title says medium point, but it's actually "superbroad". If you look at the specs it correctly indicates 1.4mm, which is twice as wide as the other refill available on amazon Monteverde Ballpoint Refill to Fit Mini and Multi Functional Pens, Medium Point, Soft Roll, Blue/Black, 4 per Pack (D132BB) which also is labelled as "medium point."...

Monteverde Ballpoint Refill to Fit Mini and Multi Functional Pens, Medium Point, Soft Roll, Blue/Black, 4 per Pack (D132BB) which also is labelled as "medium point." So this is not what I expected but it writes ok, about as good as a BIC pen. This works with the Pulse Smartpen after you cut it shorter (same diameter).
