I purchased this book with the intention to scrapbook our life for a full year. This book is basically a prompt for different photos to take during each month to scrapbook a page for that month. It does have a wonderful layout for each month to represent what you could do. The "photo-op" list are great for inspiring pictures to take during each month of the year. Like Feb, don't forget to take pictures of valentines cards, or sweets you bake. Its an easel that has 6 months front and 6 months on the reverse. Really sturdy covers and the pages are heavy weight too. It can sit on your desk but it's kinda wide.

Each month has a chart for themes and pictures to take and that is helpful. It also sits on the counter like a cookbook.
