What?!? No reviews???,

Just finished watching the John Hughes documentary which had two Small Sins songs on it and that drove me to get online and see if there are any new albums from this band. I was a bit saddened to see that no one on Amazon has talked how much fun this album is. I didn't know they existed until I saw them perform live when they opened for Mates of State in Austin, TX (Fun Fun Fun Fest after party back in 2007 I believe). They gave the kind of performance where even really shy folks are going to be inclined to dance to the music. They were very welcoming and energetic. That does NOT translate onto the album, which bummed me out at first, but after a listen, I fell in love with the catchy rhythems and the occasional cheeky lyrics ("I sent you drunk emails"). It's got some deep moments as well - just a great album - the kind that would blow up if the audience were only aware of it.
