Suanne-Margaret Hastings is a Canadian born writer/actress who majored in Fine Arts at York University in Toronto, Ontario. In addition to working both in front of and behind the camera on a variety of T.V. shows, she has over twelve years of experience working with children as a Nanny/Baby-Sitter.
Suanne combined her talents and created "Many Moods of Maddie/Bossy Boots" The first, in a series of books from the "Baby-Sitter Series". Hastings, has faced first-hand the separation anxiety felt by parents and children when parents are away from home. Wanting to pass on her experience and help both parents and children learn to accept the new modern family, where daily care providers are a loving extension of the family, Suanne Hastings created this series with an adorable character named "Maddie" (Maddison Malone) which many families can relate to.
