Product Description

The MF-103 12-Stage Phaser is a high quality effect designed by Bob Moog. It contains an amazing-sounding 6 or 12 stage phaser circuit as well as a wide-range LFO with an adjustable sweep amount. Used with guitars, basses, keyboards, samples, or recorded tracks, the MF-103 can apply subtle tonal coloration or extremely deep phasing that spins your speakers and ears out of control.

This is my first actual phaser though I have had a TC Electronics Stereo Chorus/Flanger for many years, also an excellent effects box. The Moog Phaser is delightful in its sounds and nicely compliments other effects in a signal chain. I currently have it in front of overdrive/distortion effects and find it to be very useful for both clean and distorted guitar sounds. The Moogerfooger 103 Twelve Stage Phaser is top shelf quality and rather hypnotic in its spatial ambience.

I just bought this pedal and I must say, I will never again buy any other chorus/flange/phase shifter pedal again! I have a Boss BF-3 stereo flange and an Electro-Harmonix small cone full-chorus unit and neither of them even come close to the prestige of the Moog stage phaser. The tones and sounds that this pedal produces are like none that I have ever heard before. This pedal comes fully load with an extremely diverse collection of sounds that opens your ears to a whole new world of noises! An excellent choice.

Moog equipment is top-of-the-line gear. The MF103 is an awesome phaser that can be used with any audio source - vocal, guitar, synths, samples... possibilities are endless. I love that i can hook this pedal up to all of my controlled voltage equipment too! If you are looking for a great phaser with a lot of flexibility, this is the phaser you want hands down.

What an amazing processor, I bought a Moog Voyager recently but something wasn't quite right for me, it needed one more thing to be really usable in my studio and this is what did it, it totally transformed my Voyager into something that works for me, the audio quality of this MF-103 is incredible, the build quality is like a tank and now I am interested in more MoogerFoogers - no brainer, great item, a classic. AAA+++

Very adaptable to a variety of sounds from subtle to intense to downright ridiculous. Beats the MXRs and vintage Small Stones (sold my '78 about a week after I got the MF). It does take some time to figure out -- only because it has so many possibilities -- but its not that hard to get a good solid phaser sound and then tweak it from there.
