4.0 out of 5 stars Good book for Moon aficianados, March 23, 2006
This review is from: The Moon Book: Fascinating Facts about the Magnificent Mysterious Moon (Paperback)
Book is very thorough, though sometimes a bit too technical for this reader. I bought it hoping to learn some of the terminology and patterns of the moon. It does this very well.
I recommend it, though not for the casual reader.

5.0 out of 5 stars Knolage worth sharing, March 18, 2011
This review is from: The Moon Book: Fascinating Facts about the Magnificent Mysterious Moon (Paperback)
I have been doing astronomy for some 60 years and own over 350 books on astronomy and cosmology.
This little book by Kim Long is the book I keep going to to give answers to many questions I get at public star parties and over the Internet.
It is a book that I thank every amateur astronomer should have on there bookshelf and anyone who would like some detailed facts about the Moon.
