Just returned from Coastal Oregon. Book was extremely helpful, love the maps of various towns--gives you the heart of each one so you can find your way around. Smart purchase if you're traveling to Coastal Oregon.

I was driving and photographing the central and coastal areas of Oregon and wasn't interested in tourist spots so this book was only used as an occasional backup to books talking about photographing Oregon. I wouldn't buy it if your primary goal is to capture the state with a camera.
