Book Description

Envy’s life was great. Great brother, great boyfriend, and the best job a girl could ask for… tending bar at the most popular clubs in the city. At least it was great until she got a call from one of her best friends about her boyfriend doing the vertical limbo on the dance floor at Moon Dance. Her decision to confront him begins a chain of events that will introduce her to a dangerous paranormal world hidden beneath the everyday humdrum. A world where people can transform into jaguars, real life vampires roam the streets, and fallen angels walk among us.

Devon is a werejaguar, a little rough around the edges and one of the joint owners of Moon Dance. His world is tilted on its axis when he spies an alluring vixen with red hair dancing in his club, armed with a cynical heart and a taser. With a vampire war raging around them, Devon vows to make this woman his… and will fight like hell to have her.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great new paranormal series! September 22, 2010
By PA Mom
Format:Kindle Edition
I've read other books by Amy Blankenship, but this one is by far my favorite. Lots of paranormal action going on and great, steamy sex scenes. (That scene in the dance cage...yowza!) This is the first book in the Blood Bound series and I can't wait to read more about these characters in upcoming books. It has multiple story lines going on, but they're all woven together very well. You can tell the authors are planning for multiple books in this series. I'm hoping it's a long series because I'm really enjoying the world they've created. Lots of great characters have been introduced in this first book. I can't wait to see how things turn out for Kane...

All in all, a recommended read for all paranormal romance fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Start!! July 23, 2010
Format:Kindle Edition
This has the ability to be a really good series. The conflict starts with the leaders of two groups of shape shifters, cougars and jaguars, fighing over a wrong that was done to a vampire named Kane, because of them. That is basis for the story. The vampire wants revenge, but what he is doing in the name of "justice" is wrong, and ends up hurting a lot of innocent people. Is it to late for him? How about the people he hurts? You can feel the anger and hate in him, but also the hurt and despair. You want Kane to realise his wrongs and fix them, because you want him to find his happily ever after, especially because of what was done to him.

Then there is the two groups of shifters. They were once friends, but not any longer. When one of the jaguar shifters finds his mate, will he be able to keep her, or will Kane go to any lengths to achieve his revenge, even if this jaguar was innocent?

I don't want to give a lot away, because there is so much more to the story then that, but I don't want to spoil it for others. Just let me say if you like the paranoramal, and some romance as well, then this book is a must read!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bookreader9999 July 7, 2010
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Moon Dance is a great beginning to a new paranormal series. It has elements that will appeal to a wide audience: supernatural creatures such as vampires and shapeshifters; action; romance; humor; and steamy erotic scenes. It's a fast-paced fun read that leaves you begging for more. I strongly urge you to check it out!

4.0 out of 5 stars must read October 24, 2010
Format:Paperback
Moon Dance, The first in the Blood Bound Series is a must read. Fast paced plot, mutiple charitors and steamy erotic sex sences leaves you breathless and wantiing more. The mutiple story lines interlink so smoothly, and leaves room for great advancments in a series. The world and charitors that Amy has woven is very beilveable, one could easily fall into the story. The only drawbacks to reading Moon dance would be the lost track of time and steamy sex dreams I had while reading this book...

5.0 out of 5 stars Can't wait to read the next one! April 20, 2011
Format:Paperback
Starts off with a bang and keeps on going. This is one of those pick it up and keep on reading books. As the levels get more and more complex you also have sympathy for the underdog. (I won't reveal his name) The romance part is smokin!
I'm looking forward to reading the next installment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not a romance reader....but. September 22, 2010
Format:Kindle Edition
I am not a romance novel reader, but when a friend shared Amy's Moon Dance with me, I was hooked. What a movie this would make. Twilight has seen its twilight if this ever gets made into film. There is enough science to catch the sci-fi enthusiast, enough mystery to catch the who-dunnits, and of course let's not forget the sex. Tasteful and pulse quickening, AMy weaves the passion of these super beings into theit vulnerability for mortals. Excellent job.

You will have to make a "romance" section to your fiction bookcase, because Amy is breaking all the rules in the right way for a modern person who likes ancient forces at work in the dark places of the Earth. Besides, she's hot.

Very cool.

This is the first book in a new series and looks very promising. The characters are very likeable, and the conflict started in this book gives room for a lot of future story, and romance. If you like vampires and shape shifters, and even a little fallen angel ;) then this is the book for you. Just hope the next book comes out soon!!!
