This album really puts me in a different world. With her smooth, elegant vocals delicately placed over her graceful piano playing, she really captures something unlike any other artist. Her first track "Bloom" is a great lead into the album as a whole work of art, drawing me in to the next song before I realize it's even changed. I normally don't listen to a lot of Celtic music, but this album has broken the barrier for me. Now when I need to relax or escape from my day-to-day troubles, I'll put Shauna on and melt away.

I have always loved Shauna's ethereal sound and this newest album is no different. Actually it's even better! She is an amazing song-writer and "Tumbleweed" and "Bloom" are probably the strongest tracks and really showcase the best of her talent. "Desert Sun" is probably the best overall standout track for me. I love the use of strings and her vocal arrangement choices are just stunning. Highly recommended!

I have all 3 Shauna Burns CDs and I am amazed at the direction this CD has taken on. It is a journey of the metaphysical world of light and dark! Favorite songs include Bloom, Tumbleweed, And Fire and the song I'm hearing on the radio, "Around You." For fans of Tori Amos, Loreena McKennitt, Kate Bush, this CD comes highly recommended.

I was given The Moon and the Fire Circle as a gift, and it is now on my list of "cds to take with me on a deserted island". Shauna Burns creates an ethereal and whimsical musical journey that not only feeds the imagination but satisfies the need for fine musicianship. Her complex piano composition flows majestically and freely throughout the album's story told by her enchanting vocals. It's music for the thinker, the feeler, and the dreamer.
