The recent heat wave was not kind to the new plants on my deck, so I had to replant my moonflower vines and this time they are growing fast and look very healthy. July/August seems a good time to plant these unless you are starting with seeds and then you might want to start earlier.

I ordered two plants and they arrived nicely protected in a priority box and were easy to unwrap and plant quickly. This was much more satisfying than having to wait for a plant to grow from seeds. The vines are growing so fast I'm going to have to look for a trellis!

After years of dreaming about having my own moonflower vines, I'm happy to say it is finally a reality. If you are looking for beautiful dreamy flowers that bloom at night on your deck or in the garden, then this plant will impress.
