Jimmy Scott is one of the jazz geniuses who should deserve more recognition. His voice and performing style is unique and his singing of ballads takes you to a different level of artistry that is not easy to find.

"Moonglow" is JUST AS BEAUTIFUL as anything else he's ever recorded. The voice, crystal clear; the phrasing, absolutely perfect and the tenderness with which he infuses each note he sings, unsurpassed. And that vibrato...(sigh)...NO ONE rocks such a slow, steady and powerful vibrato as Jimmy Scott. The man is a living legend!
