5.0 out of 5 stars Now moar moons, moar people's, July 1, 2009
This review is from: Moon People 2 (Paperback)
First of I'll warn the reader's that this book has four less page's than the first Moon People book. So if your looking for the same number of page's you can maybe take some from the frist Moon People and add it. Maybe two because then both Moon People's will have 78 page's. I used pag'es 37-38 but you might like other different page's.

So but the book. This book the second Moon People 2 was better than Moon People because I was already excited and the first Moon People 1. So I read it. Moon People 2, and it was better at riveting me. So when after reading I gave it to my friend and He said to leave him alone. Because he's reading Moon People 2, but he doesn't have Moon People 1! So some parts of it might not make as much sense? But part's that do are good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than first Moon People 1?, July 1, 2009
This review is from: Moon People 2 (Paperback)
Its possible that this book subcedes even it's processor! Moon People 1. The first thing I wanted to do. Was take a Bubble Bath and read Moon People 2 by candleLight. After how romantic the first Moon People 1 was. I knew Mr. Courtney would not disappoint in the a seekuel. I was right:: "David was thinking, maybe we need to heat this cavity up and put the water back on the surface..." And that is from the first Chapter only!

4.0 out of 5 stars The Moon rulz, #1... again!, July 5, 2009

This review is from: Moon People 2 (Paperback)
In Space nobody can hear you scream... except for the MOON PEOPLE because they are ALSO in space WITH YOU!

ZOMG I was so excited when I saw there is another book by the same auther as The Moon People and its also about Moon People as well. The first book (which is now "Moon People 1" I guess) left a lot of unanswered questions. This book answers all those questions and raises brand NEW questions that will probably require a Moon People 3. I sure hope so because I want too read that one now!

I dont want to spoil the plot of this book but I will say if you liked Moon People 1 but thought it could have used even MORE planets and MORE Moon People then stop looking becuase this is the book for you my friend. I could not put it down until I was finished reading it at which point I put it down and had to imediately write a review of it so everyone would know how good this book is!

I give this book FIVE STARS but I am taking off ONE STAR as a penalty because Dean Courtny should have titeled the first book "The Moon People 1". When they fought World War 1, they knew there was going to be another one and so they put that "1" after it in the titel. Then when World War 2 came along everyone was like "oh yeah, that makes sense, sure because this is the second one". They need to do the same thing with books.

Learn from HISTORY gentlemen and you will avoid penalty stars off on your review. A very solid effert worthy of FOUR STARS!!! Nice!

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Moon People 2 (Paperback)
Dale Courtney has changed the face of science fiction for the next century. Only once or twice in a lifetime are we lucky enough to witness a major paradigm shift in the genre. Ladies and gentlemen, Moon People 2 is that event.

I can barely even begin to convey the layers of nuanced narrative, emotion, and portrayal the human condition, masterfully woven together into less than 100 pages of paper and ink. My hands trembled as I turned every one of those pages. I stand in awe... I am humbled ... One cannot quantify the acuity or brilliance of Moon People 2. Words just come up short.

5.0 out of 5 stars One Trip to the Moon Wasn't Enough!, July 2, 2009
By
This review is from: Moon People 2 (Paperback)
Dale Courtney brings his genius back to his second installment of his best-selling "Moon People." To say the least, I can't find words to explain how wonderful of a bridge this is to the original, and the third installment that will be coming out at a future undisclosed date.

In this book, you will find the same passion, energy, and enthusiasm that was found in the original "Moon People," and unmatched by Dumas, Dostoyevski, Dickens, Mellville, or Suess. Dale Courtney is in a league of his own.

After reading this book, you will find yourself convinced that it actually is the mid-twentieth century! Every page is filled with wisdom and insight that will blow your mind, and it will make you wish that there were 760 pages instead of only 76. In the end, all I can say is that I want the gift that God has given to Dale Courtney.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's Moon people: ON MARS!!!!!1!, July 2, 2009
By
Tiak (San Francisco, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Moon People 2 (Paperback)
The first book was exquisite, but it suffered from many mistakes first-time authors make. The second however, falls just short of masterpiece, Mr. Courtney's writing style has been further refined, while remaining by far the most unique I have ever read from an adult author. While it may seem simplistic at first to a reader unused to the style, which seems to turn some readers off, in my experience it takes advantage of the reader's expectations to draw them in the more they keep reading. This book is severely underrated in comparison to the original, perhaps because not all readers of the original are aware of it.

The plot takes off where the original left off, with the protagonists climbing aboard a spacecraft ironically named Lunar Base 2 on a trip to the red planet. Though it is never explicitly stated, it is implied that the name was taken to take advantage of loosely worded contracts, grants, and licenses that applied to the original Lunar base product (which had three planned iterations). Anyway, hijinks ensue upon reaching the Martian surface.

5.0 out of 5 stars Copyright Infringement, July 2, 2009
This review is from: Moon People 2 (Paperback)
Although, YES, I think teh book is great and good and good written... and also it is good.

There is some serious copyright infringement in its cover art. The sphere shaped ship is from 2001 a Space odyssey. and also that is illegal. Also, I think the tube shapped ship is from Star Trek IV, but also I am not sure...
