5.0 out of 5 stars great follow up to the first!
WOW! This is such a great series. I especially liked how Yoshinaga explores different points of view throughout the series. Explorative, interesting and such great depth of emotion in her drawing.
Only mistake in the Amazon review left (and I will contact them about this, so hopefully it will be fixed soon) is that Rikuko is a girl, NOT a boy.) Making Rikuko out to...

3.0 out of 5 stars much more bite-size than vol. 1 but still entertaining

This review is from: The Moon And Sandals Volume 2 (Yaoi) (v. 2) (Paperback)
i enjoyed vol. 1 and was looking forward to vol. 2. it was radically different, however. unlike vol. 1 which told basically two separate stories involving two couples, this volume consists mostly of very short, 4-5 page scenes involving the lives of the couples after vol. 1. the situations are fairly generic (e.g. jealousy, uncertainty about coming out as a couple to other people), and oftentimes they seem like little more than an excuse to throw in tons of softcore sex scenes. all in all there's not a lot of substance here. if you're a fan of fumi yoshinaga (which i am) you'll still find parts to enjoy, but overall this wasn't at all what i was expecting from vol. 1 and doesn't feel like her best work.
