Moonalice CD,
This review is from: Moonalice (Audio CD)
Moonalice is a band (Tribe) that has unlimited great talent, and that is proven on their new cd . Their songs are truly a mind traveling experience. Each song takes you somewhere different. There's no one song I can call my favorite, as there ALL great songs. Their music is somewhere between the Grateful Dead and Steve Earl with some old school 60's/70's San Francisco style added in. Even a little jazzy too. I find myself listening to this cd just about every day. Anyway I recommend for everyone to listen to this cd .I'm sure you will be amazed and glad you bought this cd.

I stumbled across this CD while checking out one of my fav bass players; Jack Casady. When I saw his name attached to it, I knew it had to be cool. Although it has a changing lineup it keeps the groove for the whole side. Haunting melodies; most all with a strong bass line and some excellent vocals. As you can see, it has some awesome artwork as well. A very cool addition to the juke.

While some of the musicians on the album are talented, they can't overcome the horrendous song writing and vocals. Nice artwork on the cover though.
