This is a very quick beach read...the romance novel at a primary level. Nothing earth shattering about the author's writing capabilities, but entertaining enough.

This is an enjoyable read that goes by quickly. You want to find out not only what's going to happen next, but why it's happening in the first place. The haunted, vulnerable detective has to protect the equally wounded heiress, but figuring out from what exactly is the mystery- and the fun. Some might be able to figure out part of what's going on a third of the way into the book, but I guarantee you will not see the whole story until it's revealed. The author places enough clues for it to make sense, but your jaw should still drop.

I can't way to read more from this author.

"Moonlight on Diamonds" is AWESOME! I am engrossed! And it WOULD make such a great movie. Love the setting, love the references, great flow, great imagery. Anyone who grew up in NYC in the last 30 years, or has been to NYC would love it. It's like a stroll down memory lane set in a steamy, jewel-thief detective novel. Tons of fun. You can't put it down. It's a hunched-over-on -the-bathroom-stool-all-night-so-you-don't-disturb-your-spouse, book. Raymond Chandler is taking off his hat.

This is a great book, I couldn't put it down once I started reading it and spent an absolutely wonderful Saturday absorbed in Lydia Storm's imaginative world, a great escape, a great story, up to the very last page. Would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to enter an alluring world of mystery and romance and never want to leave.
