first 4 episodes since Amazon doesn't provide much info**
I gave up waiting for an English dub or a legitimate US release.
I found this Japanese language only version, licensed to Animedia Entertainment of Malaysia.
It comes with English, Chinese and Malay subtitles.
I found my copy on E-bay for $16.50 with free shipping.
The english subtitles are laughable they are so bad, but they give
enough info to understand the story.
The video and sound are otherwise the same as Funimation's Season One.

These 14 episodes continue the story but there is no closing "ending"
to the story, so someday a 3rd season may appear.
In earlier review of season one I mentioned I tried this because I liked
PLANETES so much. Moonlight Mile has less humor to it and more
of a dark mood. Still, it was entertaining enough for me and I would
watch a 3rd season if one is ever made. Technical note: In episodes
9 & 10 the english subtitles mysteriously change to Chinese (or Malay?)
in middle of episode. At this point it doesn't matter much as they are
so poorly written. English subtitles return in episode 11 without any further problems.

This is an awesome series, but it now appears I'll never find out how it ends! And how can something be 'discontinued' by the manufacturer when it was never released in the first place?
