Biography

Glenn Miller (full name Alton Glenn Miller) was born March 1, 1904, in Clarinda, Iowa. His parents moved to Nebraska, Missouri and Colorado before Glenn graduated from high school, which he did in Fort Morgan, Colo., in 1921. Miller attended the University of Colorado for a time but dropped out to become a professional musician.

This collection includes some fine old recordings. The "moon/romance" theme may be corny but I enjoy these songs very much.
