This review is from: Moonlighting (Sweet Talkin' Guys) (Harlequin Temptation) (Paperback)
As the "princess" of Belle Rive, Mississippi, Amber Logan can have any man she wants. However, she wants sweet talking Logan Van Dell only. Logan is very attracted to the beautiful eighteen year old Amber. However, he knows that anything long-term is doomed because her parents would never allow her to go with a social loser like Logan.
They journey to Vicksburg where they are to catch the bus to New York. Instead, he places her on the bus by herself and deserts her so she can start living her dream of leaving Belle Rive. He returns home to finish business in their hometown that he prays will put some of his demons to rest even as he knows he will now have new ones.
Eight years later, Logan and his family have moved up in the local social circles. Logan knows that he never stopped loving Amber and has come to New York to finish his personal business. He wants her back in his life permanently, but she knows him as the man who broke her heart.
The sixth novel in the Sweet Talkin Guy series, MOONLIGHTING, is a pleasurable contemporary romance that showcases two warm protagonists. The story line is fun, humorous, and enticing, especially when Logan using modern communications, tries to smoothly regain what he knew he had to give up when he pushed Amber away from him so they both could grow. Heather MacAllister provides her audience with a warm romantic tale.
