5.0 out of 5 stars She's Beautiful!
I always wonder what these type of things will look like when they arrive. Sometimes the facial features look odd, etc. This little gal is beautiful and although the lights are subtle, it adds so very much to my garden at night. I would recommend the fairy statue quite highly. Thanks!

3.0 out of 5 stars Should have a remote solar collector, July 20, 2010

The Moonlight Fairy is a nice size, very attractive and is a nice addition to my garden. I would've given it 5 stars but the one complaint I have (and it's a big one) is that the solar collector/sensor is mounted on the rear of the base. This severely restricts your options as to placement if you want the lights to glow for more than a few minutes at night. Many other manufacturers are using a remote solar collector/sensor with a long cord so you can place your solar garden object where you want it and place the solar collector/sensor where it gets the best sunlight. I also have a solar turtle purchased at Lowes that has a remote solar collector/sensor and that unit glows for about 7 hrs. each night and it was cheaper. The Fairy has a dismal 30 minute light display where it's currently placed. If it had a simple 6 ft. cord to a remote collector (like the turtle) then it could be hours longer.
I would've paid more for the Fairy if it had the option of an external solar collector/sensor.
For those that have a free standing garden where the Fairy's position doesn't matter then you'll be satisfied with the almost 7 hr. light display.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very disappointed with wings and the lights themselves, December 22, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Moonrays 91332 Solar Power Highlighted Fairy with Sunflowers (Tools & Home Improvement)
I have had this item for about a month now and as of now I am still disappointed with the product.

The statue itself is prettier than it looks in the picture but was very disappointed to find that the wings do not connect correctly to the statue and hang down funny. Also the black paint on the wings comes off after a few touches.

The lights themselves are also a bit disappointing. They flicker and its not a consistent pattern. They have been fully charged and will not stay lit up.

Would not refer this to a friend or family member. Only reason not sending it back is because I live overseas and because of time and money it wouldn't be beneficial. But if i could get my money back - I would!

Although the fairy is very pretty it is a piece of junk!Mine came without the clip in back for the wings and now only 2 of the flowers light up.All I got from the company was the run around when I emailed them.I have bought other solar light fixtures and they have lasted me 2 or 3 years so far and they were out all winter.Save your money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice and bright!, January 21, 2010

We have lots of solar accents around the garden but none supplied by Moonrays so this was a venture into unknown quality. Thankfully, I was pleasantly surprised by the detail on this fairy, although the wings were a little bent upon unpacking (it was easy to bend them back into shape though).

The flowers glow bright, even now during the winter months and this is despite the fact that the solar panel is facing a wall in an area that only gets about 3 hours of direct sunlight. So kudos to the makers for producing the most effective solar panel I've seen on a solar accent statue!

Large, pretty and bright. Can't go wrong with this one.

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy - you will receive the fairy I returned to Amazon!, April 26, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Moonrays 91332 Solar Power Highlighted Fairy with Sunflowers (Tools & Home Improvement)
I received my fairy about 1 week ago. The packaging was horrible. I opened the box, fairy pieces falling everywhere. Two flowers not even attached to the fairy. No clip for the wings.

Best of all...

In the box was a return authorization from the previous owner of this fairy. It was dated February 16, 2011. On the "Return Details" section, they wrote "It was damaged when I received it but I thought I can live with it. But 3 days later completely stopped working. It does not hold charge and does not light up."

Wow - I thought I was buying a new fairy. Apparently I paid for a new fairy and received a used damaged fairy instead. Along with the return authorization form from the previous owner.

Obviously, Amazon is trying to re-send this fairy until they find someone who doesn't have the time to return it.
